Who are your preferred health insurance providers?
Beerwah location only: preferred providers for Medibank
Preferred providers for both locations:
TUH, HCF, CBHS, NIB, Apia Health Insurance, AAMI Health Insurance, Suncorp Health Insurance, Qantas Health Insurance, IMAN Australian Health plans, GU Health, ING Health Insurance, Priceline Health Insurance, Real Insurance, Australian Seniors and United Healthcare Global.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, Humm and Afterpay.
How much does a dental check-up and clean cost?
New patient package is $195 including check-up, clean, fluoride treatment and bite-wing x-rays. As preferred providers for most health funds, this means you are getting the best deal available.
How often should I get a dental check-up and clean?
It’s recommended to have a check-up and clean at the dentist every six months. Regular visits help catch potential issues like dental decay and gum disease early, preventing more serious problems. Staying proactive with your oral health is the best way to avoid costly and complicated treatments down the road.
Is dental treatment painful?
Most dental treatments are not painful, and our dentists and support staff ensure your comfort throughout the process. For procedures that might cause discomfort, we use local anaesthetic to numb the area, ensuring a pain-free experience. Many treatments do not require anaesthetic at all.
Our experienced dentists and caring team prioritise gentle, compassionate care to help you feel at ease. Afterwards, if necessary, your dentist will prescribe painkillers.
Why should dental x-rays be taken?
Dental X-rays are an essential tool for diagnosing issues that may not be visible during a routine exam. They help our dentists detect cavities, bone loss, infections, and other conditions early, allowing for more accurate and timely treatment.
X-rays ensure our Beerwah and Little Mountain dentists can provide the best possible care by giving us a complete picture of your oral health. X-rays allow us to see all structures, such as all surfaces of your teeth, the roots and jawbone.
Do I really need to floss?
Brushing your teeth cannot reach all the surfaces of your teeth, only flossing can reach the surfaces between your teeth. Between your teeth is often where dental decay starts, so flossing will help prevent dental decay.
How can I improve the whiteness of my teeth?
Our Little Mountain and Beerwah dentists can provide professional teeth whitening treatments to improve the whiteness of your teeth. Our professional whitening treatments are highly effective and safe.
In addition, maintaining a good brushing and flossing routine, combined with regular dental check-ups, can help prevent stains and keep your teeth bright. A healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet and avoiding stain-causing foods and drinks like coffee, tea, and red wine, also plays an important role in keeping your smile white and healthy.
