The history of our Sunshine Coast dental practice
We opened our doors 10 years ago in Little Mountain and Beerwah under the name Toothkind, before coming under the new ownership of Dr. Frank and Dr. Shri in 2024 and rebranding to Your Family Dental. Though our name may have changed, our clinic continues our decade long tradition of providing high-quality dentistry, while also introducing modern treatments combined with a fresh approach.
The founders of Your Family Dental, Dr. Frank and Dr. Shri, are two dedicated dentists who share a deep commitment to family values and a genuine passion for dentistry. Having worked together for many years and having shared both professional and personal experiences, they decided to start a Sunshine Coast dental practice together.
Their goal was to create a welcoming environment where your family feels like their own. That goal has now been achieved in Your Family Dental – a reflection of their shared dreams, expertise, and heartfelt commitment to providing exceptional dental healthcare.

Dentist Dr. Shrikant Nair
Dr. Shri is a dedicated family dentist with a passion for both preventative care and cosmetic dentistry. With a gentle touch and a focus on long-term oral health, Dr. Shri ensures that every patient—from toddlers to grandparents—receives personalized care tailored to their needs. Whether it’s maintaining a healthy smile through routine check-ups, or enhancing it with the latest cosmetic treatments, Dr. Shri strives to make every visit a comfortable, positive experience. Your smile is our priority, and we’re here to help you achieve and maintain it for years to come!
Dentist Dr. Frank Hu
Dr. Frank graduated from studying dentistry at the University of Queensland in 2013. He worked in Queensland and New South Wales for many years before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2018. His interests revolve around replacing missing teeth with implants to improve a person’s smile and chewing ability, and orthodontics to straighten teeth.

Dr Isha grew up in country Victoria and went on to study at La Trobe University in Bendigo, graduating with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry/Master of Dentistry in 2015.
Over the last 9 years, she has gained an abundance of experience, working at both public and private dental clinics.
As a dentist, Isha’s patients say she has a beautiful, gentle approach. She is passionate about providing high quality dental work and takes particular care in ensuring her patients feel relaxed, comfortable, and fully understood.
She enjoys working with children and adults alike and finds treating anxious patients particularly rewarding. Being able to alleviate someone’s dental fears by adopting a gentle and caring manner is something she prides herself on.
Her special interests include minimally invasive dentistry and restorative procedures. She adopts a comprehensive but holistic approach to her work with a key focus on prevention.
Isha recently got married and moved to the Sunny Coast from Sydney. In her spare time, Isha enjoys travelling, cooking and going on hikes. Since moving here, she has also been enjoying spending more time at the beach!
Dr Liam White

Dr. Liam White is a gentle, holistic, and thorough dentist who has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University. He is currently further enhancing his skills after being accepted into the prestigious Australasian College of Dental Practitioners for the Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry Post-Graduate Diploma.
With a keen interest in restorative and paediatric dentistry, he is passionate about creating beautiful, healthy smiles for patients of all ages. Recently welcoming a baby boy into his family, Dr. White balances his professional life with fun moments at home with his wife and child. When he’s not in the clinic, you can find him playing the saxophone, where his love for music shines just as brightly as his commitment to patient care.
Dr Tom Wilkinson

Dr. Tom Wilkinson brings over three decades of dental expertise and a genuine passion for patient care. Graduating in 1992, he has pursued extensive postgraduate training, earning a Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Membership in General Dental Surgery, and Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners.
Dr. Wilkinson has been placing dental implants since completing his implantology training in 2001–2002 and has a special interest in treating gum disease. Patients consistently praise his gentle approach, high standards of care, and commitment to ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Wilkinson is a proud father of four. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing soccer, exploring the great outdoors through bushwalking and camping, and cherishing the moments that come with a busy family life.
Dr. Ian Lemmey

Dr. Ian Lemmey is a highly experienced senior dentist who has been dedicated to providing exceptional care for over four decades. Graduating from Adelaide University in 1980, he began his career as a dentist with the Royal Australian Navy, serving until 1987. Following his naval service, Dr. Lemmey established a successful private practice in Sydney’s Macquarie Street and a branch in Mosman on the Lower North Shore.
In 2006, Dr. Lemmey relocated to the Sunshine Coast, where he has continued to deliver high-quality dental care. Patients consistently commend his compassionate approach and exceptional service, as reflected in the numerous positive reviews he receives online.
Dr. Lemmey’s commitment to his profession is evident through his fellowships with esteemed organisations such as the Academy of Dentistry International and the International College of Dentistry. He has also generously contributed his expertise to various charities, including the Spastic Centre of NSW and ToothAid, providing dental services to underserved communities in Laos.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lemmey has shared his knowledge and experience as a Senior Clinical Associate at the University of Sydney, tutoring final-year dental students.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lemmey enjoys spending time with his grown children and appreciating the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.
